Siting under a hair dryer with her pot-bellied pig, Wilbur, in her lap Delaney Wadsworth talks with Julie Reimers while getting her hair dyed purple at Scruples Salon and Spa in Greeley. The 3-year-old was diagnosed with a rare and inoperable brain tumor called diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma.

After coming out of a coma Delaney is surrounded by knitted prayer angels that her family and friends placed there.

Abbey Gonzales lies next to Delaney as she is surrounded by family at her Severance home. Abbey is the sister of Amanda Gonzales the Northridge teenager who died two years before from the same rare cancer. Delaney had become like a sister to Abbey.

Friends, family and members of the community remember 3-year-old Delaney Wadsworth at a memorial service on Friday afternoon at Resurrection Fellowship in Loveland. Delaney lost her battle with brain cancer and passed away Sunday night.
